HBO Sports President Ross Greenburg to Address
Long Island Business Group

Syosset, New York, January 10, 2011 – The National Network for Accountants Preferred Provider Network will host its 2011 Kickoff Breakfast Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Carlyle at the Palace in Plainview from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The event will feature guest speaker Ross Greenburg, President of HBO Sports.
Mr. Greenburg’s presentation will focus on leadership and execution and will feature video from the hit series “24/7 Penguins/Capitals: Road to the NHL Winter Classic” and the latest HBO Sports documentary film “Lombardi”. Mr. Greenburg will examine and highlight parts of each program and apply them to lessons for business. He will draw upon Coach Lombardi’s famed values that emphasize hard work and dedication.
Mr. Greenburg is responsible for strategic direction and overseeing all aspects of the HBO Sports franchise, including HBO Pay-Per-View. A winner of 47 Sports Emmy Awards, Mr. Greenburg is acknowledged as one of sports television’s most innovative executives; he has been credited with redefining and reinvigorating the sports documentary genre. Greenburg is also the creator of HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, which premiered in 1995, and green lighted, in 2007, the acclaimed HBO Sports reality series franchise “24/7.”
“Ross Greenburg is a talented executive whose innovations have transformed sports television. as a true Canadian - meaning I'm a hockey freak - tonight was a hard night for me - the boys lost to the US in an amazing hockey game. Tough lost boys - we'll get 'em next year fellas!!

i know this is a crappy excuse for a photo - but i was stuck in front of my computer listening to the Oilers game online - damn pay per view - and this is all i could muster tonight - i'll put in a better effort tomorrow - promise!
